Our favorite thing about B store is usually the small, rounded collars that always seem like the seedlings of a full-blown trend—something you might see in the window of Banana Republic ten years from now. But they may have learned a few new tricks.
Their latest line debuted this week at London Fashion Week, and it’s boasting a lot more than collars. From gun-holster-esque suspenders, dark-wash denim shirts and a pleasant reliance on cerulean blue, these Britons are finally coming into their own.

For all our gushing about the Kindle, it’s still sad to see something like this happen, and we thought we’d take the opportunity to go down the list of paper’s many virtues.
There are a lot of them, including an attention to typeface and graphic design that’s unlikely to filter down to the Kindle for a good five years. But most importantly, there’s nothing like holding an object in your hands that’s been passed through dozens of hands before yours. You can’t inscribe an eBook, and as far as sentimental attachments go, objects will always win out.

via Material ReviewThe wardrobe is a toolbox. You’ve got suits for work (sometimes), a set of lazy Sunday gear, and a whole range in between for wherever you end up. Style isn’t a matter of owning nice things so much as properly diagnosing each situation and gearing up appropriately.
All of which goes a long way towards explaining how hiking boots got to where they are today. You wouldn’t want to wear them to a cocktail party, but if you’ve got a cabin somewhere, it would be hard to do better than these.

via Street PeeperThis gentleman brings us a very simple lesson: it’s all in the details. His shirt and shoes are both Levi’s (at least according to Street Peeper), but the vintage jacket and more importantly the leather boots give him enough cred to pull it off.
In fact, the drab background just makes the look seem that much more effortless. And, naturally, the shades don’t hurt.
